1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Kitlo ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Service Description

Kitlo is a gear tracking application for runners. It helps you:

• Catalog your running gear (shoes, apparel, accessories)
• Plan gear setups for activities
• Track gear usage across activities
• Monitor gear condition and lifecycle

3. Account

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the App
• One person may not maintain more than one account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated means to access the App without permission

5. User Content

• You retain ownership of any data you input into the App (gear descriptions, activity records, etc.)
• You grant us a license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the service
• We do not claim ownership of your content

6. Third-Party Integrations

• Connections to Strava, Apple Health, or Google Health Connect are optional
• Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies
• We are not responsible for third-party service availability or data handling beyond our integration

7. Service Availability

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice when possible
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with notice

8. Intellectual Property

• The App, its design, code, and branding are owned by Kitlo
• These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond using the App as intended

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (currently €0 as the App is free)

10. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
